The Kindermagic Learning Journey

Kindermagic Curriculum is a comprehensive early childhood education program designed to provide a strong foundation for children aged 2 to 8 years. Developed in alignment with NEP 2020 and NCF for Foundational Stage, it integrates brain-based learning, STEAM education, financial literacy, space science, SDGs, and design thinking into early learning experiences.

2+ Years – Playgroup

Foundation for Learning

The Playgroup program is where little learners take their first steps into structured learning. At this stage, children learn best through play, movement, and sensory exploration. Activities like music, rhymes, storytelling, and tactile play help develop motor coordination, listening skills, and early social interaction. Focus is also placed on early communication, encouraging children to express themselves with words, gestures, and expressions. By the end of this stage, children feel safe, happy, and curious—ready to take on the next step.

3+ Years – Nursery

Exploration & Expression

Nursery is the time when children begin to explore ideas and express themselves with more confidence. We introduce foundational literacy and numeracy through letter recognition, phonics, number games, and storytelling. Children learn to communicate clearly, share ideas, and build early friendships. This stage also nurtures social skills like teamwork, sharing, and empathy, while encouraging basic reasoning with puzzles, guided play, and problem-solving games. Nursery lays the groundwork for future academic and emotional success.

4+ Years – Lower Kindergarten (LKG)

Conceptual Learning

In LKG, children begin to make sense of abstract concepts through stories, visual aids, and hands-on experiences. Literacy advances with phonics, picture reading, and early sentence building, while numeracy grows with activities on counting, shapes, and patterns. Children are encouraged to think conceptually by connecting ideas and asking questions. Creativity is nurtured through role-play, art, and music, while group learning builds teamwork and confidence. This stage ensures a smooth balance of conceptual learning and joyful discovery.

5+ Years – Upper Kindergarten (UKG)

Foundation for Primary School

Senior Kindergarten serves as the bridge to formal schooling. At this stage, children develop reading fluency, writing skills, and structured numeracy concepts like addition and subtraction. Logical reasoning, sequencing, and observation are strengthened through experiments and inquiry-based learning. Environmental awareness is introduced with nature walks, science projects, and interactive discussions. Alongside academics, children are encouraged to take responsibility, work in groups, and become more independent. By the end of UKG, they are fully equipped—academically, socially, and emotionally—for the transition to primary school.

6+ Years – Grade 1

Transition to Formal Learning

Grade 1 is a child’s first step into formal education, where structured academics are combined with creativity. English learning expands into comprehension, grammar basics, and creative writing. Mathematics introduces addition, subtraction, problem-solving, and early measurement concepts. Environmental Studies builds awareness about nature, community, and the child’s surroundings. Technology, art, music, and physical activities continue to play an important role, ensuring holistic growth. This stage encourages children to take responsibility for their own learning while still enjoying engaging and interactive teaching methods.

7+ Years – Grade 2

Advanced Conceptual Learning

Grade 2 strengthens a child’s ability to think independently and critically. Reading and writing become more advanced with creative writing, vocabulary expansion, and comprehension practice. Mathematics expands into multiplication, division, geometry, and logical reasoning, while science and environmental studies deepen children’s understanding through experiments, discussions, and projects. This stage also emphasizes life skills, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving, helping children grow into confident, responsible, and independent learners.
